cosy seating area modern building lovely site poor lighting busy restaurant limited seating
i enjoyed the site's overall feel. the other building included a pool. it looked very modern. i saw some nice cosy seating areas.
i found no seating in the evening. the restaurant didn't seem busy. the same restaurant was used in the morning for breakfast.

a quiet escape
sprawling grounds heated pool peaceful room good bubble
the grounds sprawl far, the amenities offering both kid and adult enjoyment. a heated indoor pool was a gentle surprise. rooms were so clean and peaceful, weddings occurred elsewhere. it was a good bubble.
the building's signage was not the best, i missed a turn initially.

the restaurant food had beautiful flavour and it was really delicious. breakfast included a wide array of choices, both continental and english style, with many options i never tried before.

the staff was pleasant and eager, attending to every need. water stations were available everywhere, especially helpful during longer walks across the estate.

Wonderful amenities and service!
friendly staff beautiful grounds
I found the staff very friendly. The grounds are BEAUTIFUL! I enjoyed the new playground and its offerings. The hotel has a nice sized room and bathroom too.

mixed feelings about my stay
slow check-in unengaged receptionist
The check-in process was slow, and the receptionist did not seem particularly engaged. i was told my upgraded room was unavailable upon arrival. this was because of a corporate event. It was like individual guests received less attention.
